Glass Art
Glass art painting involves using glass as a base, applying glazes and metals, and repeatedly firing the piece. This technique originated in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, was rediscovered during the Art Nouveau period in the 19th century, and was revived in the 1990s by cloisonné artist Yoshiko Hasegawa. It is characterized by the unique transparency and glossy texture of glass, offering vibrant and colorful expressions.
